Lost in the Lotus Pond

如梦令

“Lost in the Lotus Pond” embodies cut papers and the illuminated cell phone light. Viewers provide to explore the virtual and actual, real and unreal. As viewers wander designed paths by cell phone screen light or flashlight, exaggerated shadows create an otherworldly, kaleidoscopic effect. These works reference a specific line of a poem by Li Qingchao, “ I plunged deep among water lilies my sculls. I struggled and struggled out of the tangle. I thus alarmed a beach of herons and gulls”.
